Source: State investigating Mike Hernandez for braking Florida law...

From Our Inbox: details emerging on Mike Hernandez -- a complaint for "alleged" state law violations under investigation.

Sources shared with #MiamiPapers in response to:

Here are details  -- 

• a formal complaint was filed back in October with the State of Florida Elections Commission;

• looks like, the records are "confidential" until the Commission rules on probable cause (not sure what that means -- help);

• the alleged violations took place in July and in the County Commission Chambers;

• other people involved, including --
• Douglas Hanks -- Miami Herald reporter;
• Hank Tester -- CBS4; and
• Erika Carrillo -- Univision-Noticias23

• allegedly, Mike broke a Florida law prohibiting him from using his official position at the county to benefit Gimenez re-election campaign.

More details will be exposed after the Florida Commission conducts it's investigation.  

Can't wait for the sworn testimony -- especially from the media and reporters allegedly involved in the incidents.

Looks for certain that even more fireworks are coming after the elections ...
